Welcome to Carleen's new Monday series! ~~~~~ In this Somatic Series, I integrate the coursework I teach to college students with a fluid yoga practice to empower you to understand the biology of your stress and nurture your well-being through embodiment. A resilient nervous system doesn't avoid stress. Rather, it moves through it without getting stuck (dysregulated). In this series, you will learn how to establish safety, discharge tension, and invite ease through this crazy journey we call Life. We move beneath the habit of "getting it right" to explore the supple center: a state of being that is responsive, regulated, and liberated. This series is ideal for anyone navigating the pressures of a high-demand life, those living with chronic tension, and anyone seeking a deeper, more intimate relationship with their physical and emotional self. Whether you are a long-time practitioner or new to the mat, these tools are designed for every body. Attend the entire series or pick and choose classes convenient for your schedule. Weeks 1 & 2: Safety & The Yield The Focus ~ Stop bracing. Train the brain to recognize safety so you can release what you're holding (carrying) and find the courage to be supported. Weeks 3 & 4: Fluidity & Discharge The Focus ~ Release stuck energy. We use primal, rhythmic motion to flush survival stress and complete the stress cycle in your muscles and fascia to find balance (homeostasis). Weeks 5 & 6: The Psoas & Supple Center The Focus ~ Quiet the alarm. We soften the "muscle of the soul" and the inhabit the diaphragm to soothe the fight-or-flight response and invite deep listening. Weeks 7 & 8: Vagal Harmony The Focus ~ Tone the calm-down nerve. We stimulate the Vagus nerve and solar plexus to improve sleep, digestion, and your compassionate relation with self. Week 9: Presence & Integration Focus ~ Stillness in motion. A final masterclass to integrate the teachings and reaffirm your agency and understanding of how to self-regulate and inhabit safety and coherence.

To ensure everyone has the opportunity to practice, we kindly ask that you manage your bookings mindfully. Cancellation Window: If you need to cancel your reservation, please do so at least 3 hours before the scheduled start time. No Refunds: All class purchases are final. We do not offer monetary refunds; however, cancellations made outside of the 3-hour window will result in a class credit being returned to your account for future use.
