Sunday Evening Sound Bath

A weekly event to restore, recharge and reset with a sound bath

1 h44 W Earleigh Heights Rd

Service Description

A weekly sound session to help you transition from the previous to the week ahead. You'll be enveloped in a soothing soundscape of instruments like crystal singing bowls, metal singing bowls, harmonized gongs, chimes, and tongue drums to help your brain and body release tension. These sounds create a supportive environment for deep relaxation and renewal. Various practitioners and instruments! Rest comfortably as sound frequencies wash over you, guiding you into a deeply relaxing state of mind and body. Meditate, ride the edge of consciousness or sleep! Participants often report feeling more centered, focused, and energetically balanced after these sessions. We encourage you to arrive early to set up your space, connect with the community. When you arrive at our sound bath session, you'll enter a peaceful, dimly lit space designed for deep relaxation. You will be guided through a brief orientation before you settle into your chosen position - either on a mat with comfortable props or in a zero gravity chair. As the session begins, you'll be immersed in a carefully orchestrated journey of healing sounds, starting with gentle tones that gradually build into a rich tapestry of harmonious vibrations. The experience is completely passive; your only task is to relax, breathe naturally, and allow the therapeutic sound waves to wash over you. Whether you remain alert, drift into meditation, or fall into a peaceful sleep, there's no wrong way to experience the sound bath. Each person's journey is unique, and we encourage you to honor whatever arises during your session. What to Bring: - Comfortable, loose-fitting clothing - Journal and pen for insights - Favorite yoga mat, props, blanket (some available) - Water or warm beverage for grounding Note: Some zero gravity chairs (lawn chairs that recline so that the feet and head are elevated.) are usually available. A luxury addition to our sound baths, and also an accessibility addition. Regular, XL and XXL are usually available. They are available first to those for whom the floor is not accessible or painful. Please mark form during check out to reserve! We practice in multiple studios, and sometimes have to bring these from storage or reserve them from another event. Not sure? We try to leave one or two chairs open in case of need during class! Guest practitioners will be joining us, and we will begin to alternate the sound instrument types. Subject to change to restorative yoga without notice.
