Jaime, originally from Erie, PA, grew up on the shores of Lake Erie. Being active all her life in dance, cheerleading and power lifting, she began practicing yoga after a serious lumbar spine injury in 2016.
Wanting to know more about this ancient practice, Jaime completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in power vinyasa in 2018. Jaime further deepened her understanding and study of yoga and mindfulness with a 100-hour Tibetan Buddhism meditation teacher training in 2020 and she completed her 300-hour advanced yoga certification with internationally admired yoga teacher and Buddhist Chaplain, Cyndi Lee, in 2021. Additionally, Jaime is a certified stand-up paddleboard instructor and FloYo (SUP yoga) teacher.
Jaime continually reflects on the gift that yoga is in her life. The practice is a refuge to her, a place to turn inward to learn more about herself and to develop self-compassion. The practice reminds her that we all have everything we need and, as her teacher Cyndi often says, “We can always begin again.” Jaime is also grateful for the community that naturally comes together through practice. As a teacher, Jaime hopes to provide a space for her students to challenge themselves, overcome self-doubt, spark joy through movement, and in that process get to know themselves better.
Outside of the studio, Jaime is a senior manager for an aerospace engineering company. She is a mother to three children, and wife to her best friend.
